About the event

In the words of one of my favorite podcasts, eat more, eat better and eat more better. Life is about enjoyment and this workshop is aimed to create a space for laughter, learning, joy and above all realigning our artist selves through food. Every day as artists we hustle and bust ass. We've got a message, we've got materials, and we are ready to thrust, punch, carve, turn, click, dip, and revise until our work is done; until our deadline is met. And you know what? We like it, we LOVE it! By the end we practically enjoy the salt of our own sweat. But in this gig-economy, we need to make sure we take care of ourselves, inside and out.

As a child, I grew up in a Portuguese and French family that was, and still is, obsessed with food. It's out love language. As an artist, cooking is an integral part of hitting the reset button and finding balance in my practice. Join us in the closing workshop of <script> for a homemade pasta making supper club. Enjoy a meal with new faces surrounded by the work of artists Katheryn Zazenski, Katherine Spinella, Hannah Newman, Sarah Jones, Brittney Connelly, and me, Leslie Vigeant.
